Hello, beautiful:
I recently returned from a great summer trip to the Rockies. Boulder, Denver, Breckenridge...ah...it was nice being back in the place I called home for awhile. Here's a slice of Breckenridge. Look at that July snow bank!
Oh, Sarah and Jeff! Sarah and I went to high school together and she is the type of friend you will have forever and each time you see her, despite the amount of time that has gone by, it's like you haven't skipped a beat or a laugh. This wedding was absolutely gorgeous and held at the amazing Liriodendron Mansion on most perfect summer evening--perfect temperature (no evening sweaters needed Bay Area dwellers!!), a symphony of crickets, incredible Maryland crab cakes, historic mansion and romance--incredible. There were many moments when my tears ran down my camera, especially when the oh-so-talented friend of ours, Marianne Razzo belted out a number from what can only be described as the depths of her soul. I am so happy for Sarah and Jeff. A big smooch to you both!
Sarah's INCREDIBLE vintage veil.

I was fortunate to photograph the beautiful wedding of Amber + Marlys this May in Carmel and am thrilled to announce that their wedding has been chosen as a Real Wedding on the knot's new website dedicated to fabulous gay weddings! The site launched today and I'd like to send a big bravo! to the knot and cheers to Amber and Marlys!

I'm in Baltimore until Monday evening for a much anticipated wedding!! I will return all calls and emails on Tuesday. Enjoy your weekend! :-)
I'm thrilled to be heading to the Rockies today for the OneLight Workshop and some romping in my old home of Breckenridge. Back on Monday!

Oh, how lovely! The details of this wedding literally took my breath away. Renee is the most creative person I know and she also has the very rare ability to implement her vision. The result? Pure amazement. The details were just the beginning though because these two lovelies are absolutely, adorably in love.
P.S. If you're looking for an amazing venue with European beauty and a top-notch staff, check out Casa Real.

Carley and Josh had an intimate evening wedding at the Green Room in San Francisco. Their friends and family were boisterous and full of excitement for this sweet couple. Carley and Josh are best friends and tenderly in love. Everyone had a great sense of humor...see champagne photos below for evidence!
What a party. It was the perfect summer evening with all the idyllic elements: lanterns, candy bar, Victorian mansion, 70 degrees, great tunes & dancing...and an adorable couple to celebrate!
Jamie and I had an opportunity to do some fun bridal shots of her right before the ceremony.
Sara and Kevin were married on the most beautiful summer day--the kind that begs a wedding to be held. The sky was a deep blue, the grass strong green, children played in the wildflowers and family and friends mingled and toasted the adorable Sara and Kevin. Sara and Kevin's loveliness, easy-going nature and smooth dance moves will stay with me for a long time.
