Kim & Dan lived across the street from each other in college and almost never met. The day before Dan graduated and headed out of town, a group of friends got together for one of those great finale parties. There was a bonfire...and there was magic. The following years continued in the same dreamy fashion: weekends at a friend's beach house, a move to Chicago on a whim in the winter (and only knowing each other) where they slept in & frequented an ice cream parlor across the street. And to top it off, Dan told me he has a slew of songs that remind him of Kim: he listened to them on his way to work when he lived in Paris.

Juliana & Ben woke up before dawn to hit the road for San Francisco so we could spend some time together before their October wedding in Pasadena. They are all stars. They are such fun. They are making a peanut butter & jelly sandwich in their wedding ceremony.

At a Christmas party in 2008, Joe decided he was going to get up the courage to talk to the most beautiful girl in the room. He scanned the room and locked eyes with Claudia and then spent the next fifteen minutes deciding what he was going to say to her. Claudia told me she noticed him the moment he walked in the door. It was the unexpected. Claudia & Joe didn't work together--and this was a work party; Joe was a last minute plus one for a friend. You never know when love will strike!

Claudia & Joe recently moved back to the Bay Area from NYC and into their new home. This beautiful empty space was the perfect spot to get cozy and break the ice together. (And I love bare walls & hardwood. And we had the Giants on. And it was raining.) These two lovebirds are getting married this weekend!
