Every quarter, the Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association ([AG]WPJA) holds an international contest. I am happy to announce that my image for the "Details (found)" did quite well this quarter! In fact, they ranked me as one of the top [AG]WPJA artistic wedding photojournalists! ...Whoa. :)

Thank you to Sarah & Sam who lived many lovely moments that day, including the one that won. And thank you for creating an amazing time for me in Maui; it was unforgettable.

Katie & Erik's beautiful coastal wedding was featured on Bride's Cafe this week! Congrats, lovelies! Bride's Cafe offers incredible inspiration and I love their edgy and romantic leanings. I'm honored to be on their Creme de la Creme list of preferred vendors!

Spring is on its way! The trees are starting to bloom in the Bay Area and little birds are chirping outside my window as I type. With this approaching, bridal sites ask photographers for images that showcase all the lovely looks of a springtime nuptial. When I put together these images, I was so taken by the beautiful & inspiring designs & the many looks of spring.

 

Lindsay and Mike's wedding began at twilight and was mainly lit by small candles; it created a gorgeous, romantic tone that perfectly fit them. But once the reception started, the mojitos and wine began to flow, the jokes were cracked and nearly every guest hit the dance floor. It was an absolute blast.
