Amanda & Luke wow me every time I see them. They have a connection that is so unspoken and magnetic, it's as if everyone else disappears when they lock into each other. Needless to say, their wedding was full of gorgeous emotions & tenderness that every guest was privileged to witness. It was raw and spectacular and stopped me in my tracks multiple times. Being in the presence of such palpable love really gets me. I adore these guys. :)
Amanda & Luke's wedding was Bee Green and they had one of my favorite eco-elements: the kegorator from their house that dispensed the delicious Moose Drool. Cheers to these two lovelies and green weddings! Much love.

I really loved Chris & my wedding so there are few things in life that make me feel I would do it differently if given the chance. A few of those things? The Outstanding in the Field alfresco dinner we had (in 80 degree weather) on the beach last year. That would be an insanely amazing wedding experience. I also get a little heart tug when I visit a California farm or ranch--that rustic and natural simplicity tied into nature gets me--and as a native New Yorker, illustrates my California love. And I can't forget The Proposal (dreamy photo here). That wedding scene in the barn is magic.
But now there is BHLDN. It's the blending of my love, love of Anthropologie in my personal life and my love of everything nuptial in my professional life. I am smitten. I swoon. I want to do it all over again.

Katelyn & Andie welcomed nineteen guests to their intimate Kenwood wedding. Everyone played a role in the tenderness of the day; the intimacy was spectacular. Katelyn's parents drove from San Diego with a caravan of incredible found items--and family heirlooms--that they discovered while doing months of wedding antiquing: mismatched vintage tablecloths; vintage linens strung around every inch of the depot and hung on the back of every chair; delicate floral china and glassware and the most incredible invitation I've seen: it was printed on a linen. The day was all about family and their tight circle of friends & everyone took such sweet care with each other--even Katelyn was doing her sister's hair up until the last possible minute. This was truly a collaboration of love. I was honored to be there.
Venue: Kenwood Train Depot | Music: Jay Alvarez (Spanish guitarist) | Caterer & Cake: Jole | Wine: Newton Vineyards | Champagne: Schramsberg | Chocolates: See's Candy | Tea Bags: Homeade | Decorations: All found in thrift/antique shops | Hair: Sanctuary...A Salon | Dress: San Francisco flea market | Slip: Vianett Bridal | Ribbon and flowers: Britex | Shoes: DSW | Jewelry: antique shops | Andie's Suit: Kenneth Cole | Andie's Shoes: DSW
