Shu & Lance live in China and had never been to San Francisco. When they saw a photo of San Francisco City Hall, they knew they had to be married there. What a testament to our divine San Francisco and the grand architecture and history of City Hall. So Shu & Lance hopped on a plane and traveled here with a 1940 wedding dress pattern, materials for the dress & veil and a sharp suit. What a sweet adventure. Throughout our time together, I was so taken by their partnership & the intimacy of this elopement. The feeling of all we need is each other. No family, no friends--I was their witness, which was such a teary honor. The connection between them & the beautiful opportunity to focus on the monumental moments with zero distractions...it was moving, personal and blissful to stand back and watch them envelope each other, smile and giggle.

The night before their wedding, Shu stayed up late sewing and adding amazing beading (found in SF) to the back of her dress. I have never seen anything like this dress. Classic.

Cheers to Jane & Tameez whose destination wedding in ancient Mayan ruins was featured on Destination I Do. Hacienda Uayamon and Hacienda Puerta Campeche are out of this world incredible. I crave a return trip.

Skeeters & Justin's wedding day enthusiasm rippled throughout the seats at the LA SmogShoppe. Skeeters beamed and laughed her way down the aisle & once together, she & Justin roared and cried. Tons of sweetness. These two fit like a glove, melt into each other's arms (see their first dance), savor quiet moments just as much as a great laugh together. They are beautiful.
